Elaine Deutsch is the Vice President, Sales, TradeWeb and is a member of the Audit Committee, the Enrollment, Communications and Marketing Committee, and the Governance and Nominating Committee.
Elaine sailed on Semester at Sea in Fall 1971 while
a student at Bloomfield College and in 1974 as an RA, after graduation. She
began working for Credit Suisse, First Boston in 1977 as a sales assistant in
Fixed Income Sales after relocating to California from Virginia in 1974.
She retired from Credit Suisse in 2001 as vice president of Fixed Income Sales.
In January 2002 she joined TradeWeb where she is director of account management
for the West Coast territory. Her daughter, Hannah (who has sailed on
several reunion voyages already) will be starting at University of Wisconsin,
Madison in the fall and hopes to sail on SAS in Spring 2012.
Elaine has remained active within the SAS alumni family serving as a chapter rep, recruiter, alumni development committee member and now, a member of Board of Trustees. She is the proud recipient of the Alumni of the Year award, 2002-03.
