Sara Kutler

For Sara and her husband Jon Kutler, creator of the Quarterdeck Family of Companies, the journey began as an idea flowing through his pen a decade and a half ago. His words proved prescient for an entire industry.

Carried by the momentum of that first wisp of an idea, Kutler's leadership became a gale force in the global aerospace and defense sectors through the 1992 creation of the Quarterdeck Family of Companies, including Quarterdeck Investment Partners, LLC, the sectors' leading global merger & acquisition advisor plus Quarterdeck Equity Partners, Inc. and Quarterdeck Public Equities, LLC, merchant banking firms that invested in the sector.
Admiralty Partners is a private investment firm dedicated to providing both seasoned guidance and private equity financing to the portfolio companies in which it has invested. Admiralty Partners invests exclusively within the related global aerospace, defense, and federal information technology industries.

Sara is a Semester at Sea alumni having sailed on the fall 1974 and spring 1975 voyages as well as the Reunion Voyage in 2007. She also serves on the Alumni Association Board of Directors.
