Scott J. Adelson

Mr. Adelson's practice embraces all aspects of corporate finance including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and the issuance of debt and equity capital. During his nineteen years at Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Adelson has advised hundreds of companies including multinational conglomerates such as Jardine Matheson Limited, companies with premier brands such as Callaway Golf Corporation, regional icons such as Mammoth Mountain Ski Area and technology leaders such as SAIC, Inc.

Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Adelson had been a serial entrepreneur, founding three companies in various industries. He has guest lectured at various universities and symposiums and has written extensively on a variety of corporate finance and securities valuation subjects. Mr. Adelson has been a commentator on CNBC, CNN and various business publications, including Business Week.

Mr. Adelson is an active board member of various businesses as well as recognized non-profit organizations such as the USC Entrepreneur Program. He is licensed with the NASD as a Registered General Securities Representative (Series 24, 7, 63). Mr. Adelson received an MBA from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California and sailed on the fall 1981 Semester at Sea voyage.
