John Healy

John joined the Institute staff in November 2007 as the Assistant Vice President / Director of Major Gifts within the Office of Development and Alumni Affairs. He sailed on the Spring 1999 voyage of Semester at Sea while a student at Miami University in Oxford, OH where he earned a B.S. in Secondary Education the following year. Following graduation, John started his career in the non-profit sector by working for the national headquarters of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity in Charlotte, NC, followed by five years at Miami University where John first served as the Assistant Director of Annual Giving, and then as a Director of Regional Development gaining experience in both annual giving and major gift fundraising. While in North Carolina and Ohio, John volunteered for Semester at Sea as a part-time recruiter promoting Semester at Sea at college study abroad fairs in the area.
