Tour the MV Explorer in Norfolk, Va.

Open Ship - our version of a traditional open house - gives students and families the opportunity to tour our floating university and ask questions of Institute for Shipboard Education (ISE) senior officials and staff. There really is no better way to get a feel for the unique nature of the Semester at Sea experience. As the heart of the Semester at Sea program, the MV Explorer includes classrooms, recreational facilities, study areas, computer labs, and an 8,000 volume core library that supports the global, comparative academic focus of Semester at Sea.
