Throughout the academic year, we travel to campuses around the country to meet with students interested in learning more about Semester at Sea. See when SAS will be at your campus.

Open Ship Events

The MV Explorer can most often be found in foreign ports or in the waters between those ports as she carries hundreds of students, faculty, and staff on Semester at Sea. A few times a year, however, the Explorer can be found in the U.S. between the semesters and that's time we like to use to give you a chance to visit our floating campus. Come to an Open Ship event - you'll get a first-hand look at the shipboard living and learning environment and find out more about Semester at Sea's unique blend of academic study within an experiential global comparative context.
