David J. Toscano, Delegate to Virginia House of Delegates, Minority Leader, 57th District (Discipline: Sociology)

David J. Toscano received a BA from Colgate University, a Ph.D. in sociology From Boston College and a J.D. From the University of Virginia. He has taught at the University of Virginia, University of Maryland (European Division ) and James Madison University. He practices law with Buck, Toscano, and Terereskerz in Charlottesville, Virginia. Since 2006, he has been a Delegate to the Virginia General Assembly representing Charlottesville and Albemarle. He presently serves as the Democratic Leader in the House of Delegates. He taught sociology for SAS on the Fall 2010 voyage. He is married and has a 14-year-old son.
