Maggie Debelius is the Director of the Writing Center and a Visiting Assistant Professor of English at Georgetown University. She holds a BA from the University of Virginia, an MA from Georgetown, and an MA and PhD from Princeton. Her primary research interest is in the theory and practice of teaching writing, on which she has published several articles. She is also the author of So What Are You Going to Do with That?: Finding Careers Outside Academia (University of Chicago Press). She works with faculty across the disciplines at Georgetown and has taught writing workshops for a variety of audiences, including corporate clients, the Smithsonian, and the White House.
