How can I get back on the ship?
Students still enrolled in an undergraduate program who sailed on a spring or fall voyage can repeat as a student on a summer voyage; we offer graduate law classes and a teacher certification program on summer voyages. Position descriptions and qualifications for faculty and staff positions are listed on our website.
How do I get a copy of my SAS transcript?
Students who have sailed up through Spring 2006 will have transcripts provided by the University of Pittsburgh, not Semester at Sea. Copies are free. Instructions are provided online.
Students who have sailed on Summer 2006 or later will have transcripts provided by the University of Virginia. Instructions are provided online.
How do I receive Shipmates?
Keep your address current in our Alumni Directory and you'll receive three complimentary copies of Shipmates each year!
I live in or will be visiting an SAS port city while the ship is docked there. Can I board the ship for a quick visit?
As you know, the safety of our participants is our number one priority. Like in airports, port security has increased. Only immediate family members of current participants will be considered for boarding.
I want to plan a reunion. Can you help me advertise to my shipmates?
We most certainly can and will help in planning and getting the word out. Please see the reunion page for more details.
