You can flip the pages, zoom in and out, search for topics, send it to a friend, and print out the specific pages that interest you. August 27, 2010: The 103rd SAS voyage set sail from Halifax, Nova Scotia today with 606 undergraduates representing 260 colleges and universities; 62 lifelong learners; and 67 faculty and staff. HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA—Nobel Peace Prize Recipient Archbishop Desmond Tutu, 78, will serve as Senior Statesman in Residence and help launch the first Desmond Tutu Distinguished Chair in Global Understanding, a program established to honor his lifelong contributions to global awareness and intercultural understanding, when the 800-member academic community aboard the MV Explorer departs on its 103rd voyage tomorrow.

Summer Voyage Returns to Norfolk, Va. After 67-Day Journey

Norfolk, VA—More than 800 Semester at Sea students, faculty, and staff concluded their their 67-day summer voyage to North Africa and the Mediterranean this morning when the MV Explorer docked at the Half Moon Cruise and Celebration Center. Hundreds of sign-waving parents, families, and friends were present to welcome home their loved ones.

ISE Enrichment Voyages that Satisfy Exploration, Curiosity and Service Set Sail

The upcoming Institute for Shipboard Education (ISE) Enrichment Voyage, a one-of-a-kind travel and learning adventure for participants of all ages, sets sail December 15 for 12 destinations in Central America. Lecturers, who have been selected for their regional expertise, will provide an in-depth look into the countries and cultures visited in an engaging shipboard environment. Participants can further tailor their travel experience through a variety of field program excursions and activities.
