Shipboard Naming Opportunities

The ISE/SAS Board of Trustees has endorsed an effort to name selected space on board the MV Explorer. This effort invites the support of all alumni, friends and parents of SAS to offer gifts to name spaces for fellow voyagers, for students who sailed, and for families who have supported SAS over the years.

Funds for these gifts can be given as cash, securities, or other forms of annuities and can be pledged gifts over 2-3 years for those naming opportunities over $25,000. Contributions will be counted as gifts to the Annual Fund and the funds will be used for the strategic priorities of the Annual Fund. We are encouraging shipmates, families, roommates from voyages, and other types of friendship among those of us who love Semester at Sea to join together in this effort!

• The Executive Dining Room/Classroom #1- $100,000
• The Captain's Bridge- $100,000
• Deck 7- $100,000
• Deck 6- $100,000
• Captain's Executive Conference Room- $75,000
• The Main Dining Room- $75,000
• Classrooms (8 remaining)- $50-75,000 each
• The Garden Lounge Dining Room- $50,000
• Workout Facility- $50,000
• The Wellness Center (Spa)- $50,000
• Pool Area- $50,000
• Piano Lounge area- $50,000
• The Medical Clinic- $50,000
• Deck 7 suites-$50,000 each
• Deck 5 suites- $25,000 each
• Junior suites on Deck 4- $20,000
• The Executive Dean's office- $10,000
• Deck 5 outside doubles- $10,000
• Deck 3 and 4 doubles- $10,000
• Student Life offices- $10,000
• Academic Dean's Office- $10,000
• Multimedia Lab- $10,000
