Halloween on the Atlantic
It would not be Halloween without costumes and candy! From pirates, to lucky charms, tourists to soccer players, voyagers dressed up and celebrated the holiday MV World Odyssey-style.
The dependent children ventured from cabin to cabin, collecting candy, pencils, stickers and other treats from students, faculty, and staff. Members of the community who welcomed goodie-hunting-guests decorated jack-o-lanterns to hang on the outside of their cabin doors.
Later in the night, students dressed up and showed off their creativity at the Halloween dance and costume contest. Voyagers either brought costumes with them, gathered ideas in port, or got creative with shipboard materials to complete their spook-tacular wardrobes.
Shaye McCoy, Asher Davis, and Amanda Keator (all from Elon University) won the costume contest with their nautically themed, matching shark outfits.
Happy Halloween!
