Spring 2017 in Morocco
The MV World Odyssey’s final port of call during the Spring 2017 Voyage was the last of three African countries on the itinerary, Morocco. With so much to explore, voyagers had the chance to once again throw themselves into a flood of new experiences, smells, tastes, and friendships—while avoiding the reality that the departure from Casablanca indicates the final .
Voyager Kameron Dunbar of Oberlin College took over Semester at Sea’s Snapchat account while in port. Check out the video above to see Dunbar and other voyagers visit local markets, learn about traditional Moroccan spices and herbs, and venture out into the Sahara!
Meanwhile, a group of voyagers headed to the town of Marrakech and took a camel ride to a nearby nomad camp to visit schoolchildren and some beautiful suburban gardens. Check out the photos below for more!
