Lisa is a passionate advocate of people leaning into their own curious and creative journeys full of connection; she calls this “Living a Life of Wonder”. Myla is a powerful writer and communicator, full of authenticity and insight. Using a blend of science, stories and meaningful questions, this Wavelengths aims to spark ideas and connect participants more strongly and more intentionally to their own journeys of wonder.
Lisa is an organizational consultant, keynote speaker, cartoonist, and executive coach. She’s also a Semester at Sea Trustee, and a former 25-year higher educational professional. She designs and facilitates programs on leadership, innovation, strategic planning, and she coined the term “learned hopefulness” in relation to expanding our own sense of creativity and agency.

Myla Edmond is a writer and higher education marketing and communications strategist. She credits her first international experience (Semester At Sea, Spring 1999) with imparting the power of possibility and living on purpose. Myla is the Associate Vice President of Communications and Marketing at California State University, Dominguez Hills and is a member of the American Marketing Association Higher Education Symposium Planning Committee.
