Gabriella Santillanes is currently an Executive Recruiter at Google. Since joining the company, she has recruited a wide range of candidates from early career software engineers to senior executives. Prior to Google, Gabriella recruited for a variety of Fortune 500 companies including Amazon, Microsoft, Dell, Boeing, Alaska Airlines, and HPE. She is known for her ability to connect with others and build long term partnerships.
Gabriella holds a B.S in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. She sailed with Semester at Sea in 2012 and has served on the Young Alumni Committee for the past 6 years. Outside of work she is obsessed with travel, terrified of alligators, and very good at Candy Crush.
Armando Saldana Jr., a Talent Acquisition Manager at Uber Technologies who sits on the Core Business team, is responsible for recruiting across the U.S. and Canada. He joined Uber in 2018, where he finds himself energized by people, and passionate about using technology to solve problems. He believes that a career is a journey, not a destination, and we must embrace it.
Prior to Uber, he worked at the George Washington University, the Walt Disney Company, and the United States Government. He also serves as a board member of the Los Ubers employee resource group, and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund Advisory Council.
He was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, and is the son of two immigrant parents, the first one in his family to obtain a college degree. He is an avid runner and traveler, having sailed around the world on Semester at Sea, Spring 16’, crossing the equator and visiting over 30 countries. He holds a masters degree from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and a bachelors from the University of California, Riverside.
