Spring 2022: Mediterranean Exploration
Resident Director

Amanda Davidson

As a first-generation college student, Amanda’s path to higher education was a non-traditional one. She began her education at Radford University in Virginia where she played NCAA softball. Amanda then transferred to the College of Southern Nevada where she played softball and earned her Associate of Arts degree in Psychology. Following this, Amanda attended California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, CA, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology (with an emphasis is Sports Psychology). Immediately after, she enrolled at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF), and earned her Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership.

As a graduate student at CSUF, Amanda fell in love with the campus community and began working there as a professional in Housing and Residential Engagement.  After four years of working in Residence Life, Amanda found a passion for student conduct and restorative justice. Today, she currently continues to serve at CSUF where she leads as the Associate Dean of Students and Director of Student Conduct.

Amanda is excited to serve as a Resident Director aboard the Spring 2022 voyage. She has always wanted to journey on the World Odyssey since being an undergraduate student.  She cannot wait to share in the experiences of learning more and appreciating the unique cultures of each country, city, and community.

Amanda was born and raised in Southern California. When she is not working, Amanda loves to hike, read, and travel.
