Resident Director

Amanda Stewart

Amanda, an Ohio native, is currently completing a year in El Salvador as the Director of Administration for Love and Hope Children’s Home. Prior to her stint volunteering in Central America, she worked as a Residential Life Coordinator at Ohio Wesleyan University. Amanda first caught the travel bug as an undergraduate studying abroad in Seville, Spain. Since then she has been fortunate enough to visit countries in Asia, Africa and Central America. She holds a B.A. in Spanish from Marietta College and a M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Kent State University. When she isn’t working, Amanda enjoys reading, singing along to iTunes, exercising (especially playing soccer) and playing board/card games. She is extremely excited for her first SAS voyage and grateful for this opportunity to travel, build relationships and develop college students.
