Anaeis Minas Masihi, J.D. recently earned her law degree from University of West Los Angeles, College of Law and is currently working as a law clerk for a small law firm in the Los Angeles area. She looks forward to starting her career as an attorney practicing immigration law, family law, and advocating for children’s rights after the SAS voyage.
Immigrating from Tehran, Iran at the age of seven, Anaeis brings a global perspective to her role as the Co-Dependent Childcare Coordinator and a strong background in elementary education. As an undergraduate at Whittier College in Los Angeles, she served as an undergraduate teaching assistant at Broadoaks Elementary School. During her three years assisting in the elementary school classrooms, Anaeis came to appreciate the challenging and supportive environment the teachers created for their students and how they encouraged and nurtured each child’s personal learning interests.
As for her own personal interests, Anaeis enjoys playing the piano, teaching swim lessons, traveling with her friends, and reading anything from murder mysteries to a biographies on her favorite Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She is currently learning Farsi and hopes to strengthen her Spanish language skills while on the SAS voyage. Anaeis looks forward to exploring the cultures of the world with all of the children onboard the MV World Odyssey and sharing this amazing adventure together.
