Angela Perry grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. She earned her B.A. in Social Ecology from the University of California, Irvine. Her first experiences abroad were during those undergraduate year summers as an AVIVA volunteer for youth in South Africa and later as a Peace Ambassador for the Silk Road to the Future program in China. Upon returning back to the US, Angela earned her M.Ed. in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs from the University of Southern California (USC). During graduate school she held assistantships at USC in the Disability Resource Center, Language Academy, and in Residential Education including at Parkside International Residential College.
