I was born in Tien Giang province of Mekong delta but I live in Can Tho city with my wife, Vo Lan Phuong. We have a little boy (2 years old). I am working for Heifer International at the Viet Nam representative office in Can Tho city while my wife is an accountant of Viet Nam satellite digital television in Can Tho city. As a program manager, I am responsible for developing and implementing Heifer projects in Mekong region.

After graduation in 2005 from Can Tho University of Animal husbandry and Veterinary with a research focus on pig nutrition, I worked as a technical staff for Can Tho’s extension Centre belonging to the department of agriculture and rural development until 2007. During that period, I mainly offered technical training on livestock to farmers, built up husbandry models and collaborated with the program, projects to enhance the capacity of extension’s network. I have move to Heifer organization since 2007. I was firstly a regional program officer and moving up to the position of regional program manager since 2010. While working for Heifer, I completed second university degree of business administration (2010) and master degree of rural development (2014). In order to carrying out projects, I have partnership with provincial government sectors such as Women’s Union, Animal health department and provincial people’s committee, etc…. Besides, I have working trips to the Philippines, Nepal, and American for co- mentoring trips, workshops, Heifer trainings…

I am honored to be able to work with poor communities in Heifer projects. We have more inspiration and motivation to continue the work when there are more families riding out of poverty to achieve a better life.
