Brett M. Chin

Originally from Agoura Hills, California, Brett Chin graduated from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) with his bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing. During his time at CSUN, he was a Resident Assistant, Orientation Leader, in student government, a brother of Lambda Chi Alpha and Delta Sigma Pi, and a mentor in various programs. After graduation, he headed off to Minneapolis, MN where he worked full time as an Assistant Residence Director for 4 years and receiving his Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Experiential Education at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. Brett is currently and has been a Residence Director at the University of Minnesota for the past 4 years for 750 first year residents. In his spare time, he loves traveling around the world, singing with the Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus, playing softball, volleyball, running marathons, and being outdoors. He is thrilled to be joining the Fall 2012 voyage and looking forward to this adventure.
