Carol received her B.A. from Chatham College and her M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh in Research Methodology. She retired after 38 years as the Director of the Office of Measurement and Evaluation of Teaching at Pitt, in charge of national testing, test scoring and student evaluation of teaching. She also was an Associate Professor in Research Methodology within the School of Education,teaching statistics and measurement courses to graduate students and serving on many dissertation committees throughout the University. She sailed with SAS in Fall 2001 as the Registrar/Assistant to the Academic Dean and served on the SAS Advisory Board for several years. Following retirement, she switched to the Field Office and has sailed in that capacity in Summer 2008, Summer 2010, and Enrichment Voyages in 2009, 2010 and 2011-12. The Fall 2012 voyage is eagerly anticipated and she is anxious to see old friends and meet new ones.
