After receiving his BA in adolescent psychology from DePaul University in Chicago, Casey Hudetz set out to see as much of the world as possible. His goal led him to all corners of the globe. He studied Spanish, Guaraní and beekeeping in Paraguay; backpacked and worked on organic farms throughout Australia, New Zealand and Europe; led community service programs in the American Southwest, Costa Rica and Panama; worked as a blogger, photographer and videographer in South America and Australia; and sailed through the Mediterranean with Semester at Sea in 2009 as the IT Director. Mr. Hudetz spent the first four years of his career teaching middle school multimedia and technology at the Francis W. Parker School in Chicago. Currently, he is the Associate Director of a teen summer travel company in Chicago called The Road Less Traveled that specializes in community service, language studies and adventure programs across five continents. When Casey is not planning his next adventure, you can find him training for some bizarre athletic event, losing at chess, drinking too much coffee or trying to learn Hey Ya by Outkast on as many instruments as possible (You’re next, sousaphone!).
