Outreach Coordinator

Cate Batchelder

No stranger to the rollercoaster of students’ cross-cultural experiences, Cate has worked in the study abroad field for six years in various roles at DePaul University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While she has been happy to live vicariously through the students she has helped, Cate is thrilled to explore new places and spaces firsthand with students on this global voyage. Previous to working in study abroad, Cate taught English in Quito, Ecuador, and thereafter backpacked through South America while practicing Spanish. Learning about other ways of knowing, living, and believing are central Cate’s philosophy on international education. Cate’s formal education includes graduate study in Educational Leadership and Sociology. Upon disembarking the ship in Southampton, Cate will join her husband to live in England, where her next adventure begins.
