Christina is currently in her third year as a Resident Director at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Florida International University in Miami, FL and her Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT, where she also worked as an Assistant Residence Hall Director. After receiving her Master’s degree, Christina moved to New Orleans, LA to work as an Area Director in Residential Life for two years and then lived in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico for one year, teaching children and adults English at an English language learning school. While on the ship, Christina is most excited about building relationships and community among faculty, students, and staff. She is passionate about making the world a more connected, inclusive and just place for all, living life to the fullest, and practicing love and vulnerability. Christina is thrilled to be joining Semester at Sea for the voyage of a lifetime and is looking forward to learning from a variety of cultures and people both on the ship and around the world!
