Craig E. Ullom

Craig Ullom has served in a variety of capacities as a student affairs officer for thirty-five years in both private and public colleges and universities. Craig earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and his Master of Science in Education majoring in counseling and student personnel in higher education from Eastern Illinois University. After working in residential education at the University of Nebraska and Radford College (VA), he joined the Department of University Housing at the University of Georgia. He completed his Doctorate in adult and continuing education at UGA in 1984 and was appointed the Founding Director for the Department of Student Development Services and the Leadership Institute at the University of Miami (FL). In 1993, Craig was selected as the Vice President for Student Development and Dean of Students at Hendrix College (AR) and served there until 1998 when he returned to Florida as the Associate Vice President for Campus Life at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Craig served as the Assistant Executive Dean for the spring, 2008 voyage of Semester at Sea and upon returning from the voyage, he was appointed to his current role as Vice President for Student Affairs at Ohio Wesleyan University. During his tenure at OWU, he served as a consultant with the Global Liberal Arts Alliance at Al Akhawayn University (Morocco), participated in the inaugural International Partnership Program in India conducted by the Institute of International Education, and provides leadership for the HaitiOWU Impact Initiative.
