Damian is a licensed clinical psychologist from New York City. He currently works as a psychologist in a large urban hospital in the Bronx during the day, and moonlights in a psychiatric emergency room at another hospital. He also maintains a steady private practice in Chelsea. Despite his hospital expertise Damian’s true passion is college counseling. He has worked as a therapist in 4 different college counseling centers, and has taught psychology courses in 3 different universities. Damian enjoys the connection most counseling centers have with Student Life, and has been active in developing programs for a variety of student groups on various campuses. Building off his study abroad experiences Damian has worked with many students in a pre-departure role, and also in a re-acclimation to campus post-return. Damian received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Howard University, his M.Ed. in counseling psychology from Temple University and his B.A. from Loyola University. Damian enjoys travel, chess, books, good coffee and getting lost in conversation.
