Gabrielle Gotta earnered her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University, San Francisco in 2011. Her most recent role was as a Director of a Young Adult partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program. Prior to that she worked specifically with college students during her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Rochester Counseling Center and while on staff at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Counseling Center. Gabrielle utilizes an integrative therapeutic approach incorporating CBT, DBT, and a psychodynamic framework to meet the needs of the students. She has experience conducting individual, couples, and group therapy in college counseling centers, community mental health organizations, school based programs, and private practice for both adults and adolescents. Specifically she enjoys working with young adults during both an exciting and challenging stage of life. She works to provide a nonjudgmental environment to allow young adults to focus on distress tolerance, emotion regulation, individuation, and identity development. She has published several articles regarding the psychological well-being of same-sex couples.
Gabrielle is very excited to embark on this voyage with her husband, Jesse.
