Heather T. Porst, PA-C, MMSc, graduated from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, where she earned a Masters of Medical Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies. Since graduating from PA school, she has worked exclusively in Emergency Medicine at a trauma center in Denver, CO and at a rural, critical access hospital in Vermont, and currently resides in Santa Fe, NM. She is also a veteran of the United States Antarctic Program, spending the Summer 2013-2014 season at the McMurdo Station Medical Clinic, and she was the Winter-Over Physician Assistant for Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in 2012. Prior to attending Physician Assistant school she worked as an EMT for two ambulance services on the Northern Front Range of Colorado, while earning her B.S. in Zoology and an M.S. in Biomedical Sciences from Colorado State University.
