Jeff Larsen is a first time SAS voyager and will be serving as a member of the Field Programs staff. He joins us from Fort Collins, Colorado where he and his wife Colleen enjoy cycling, tennis, skiing, and white water paddling. Colleen is a Colorado State University faculty member and will be teaching on the voyage. Jeff and Colleen’s adult children, Noah and Margaret, are also sailing and are students on the voyage.
Jeff is a 20+ year veteran of the technology industry having served in a variety of roles with Hewlett Packard Enterprise including product development, supply chain, sales, and finance. He prides himself on his involvement in the development and mentorship of future business leaders. Most recently, he served as HPE’s Senior Director of North America Finance. Jeff is an alumnus of the University of Minnesota and CSU. He is currently on sabbatical through July 2020.
The academic environment and opportunity to visit new places appeals to Jeff. He looks forward to the energy and passion of the shipboard community and being able to meet new people. Living in land locked Colorado, Jeff is both excited and a bit nervous about life at sea. He hopes to quickly find his ‘sea legs’.
