Josh Cimenski is an Assistant Director in the Office of Student Services for the Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern California. While he has mostly worked with Undergraduate, Graduate, and Ph.D. students in academic advising roles, he also has experience working in Residence Life as well as Orientation and New Student Programs. He was born and raised in San Diego, California, which he feels heavily influenced the person he’s grown to be. He describes himself as friendly, laid back, and easy going. It’s also important to note that he LOVES good Mexican food. In his free time, he enjoys writing and playing video games.
Josh earned his Bachelor’s Degree at the University of California, Irvine (Zot zot!), where he then worked for several years. He left UCI to pursue his Master’s Degree in Post-Secondary Administration & Student Affairs from the University of Southern California. He’s embarking on this trip with his partner, Megan Fox, who will be working on board the ship as a Resident Director. While Josh’s experience traveling abroad has been limited, he’s genuinely excited for what lies ahead.
