Judith (Judy) McConnell is a licensed psychologist. She has over thirty years experience working with college students in a university setting as well as working with adults and adolescents in private practice. She recently retired from the University of North Texas where she served as the Director of the Counseling and Testing Services and Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology. Dr. McConnell has experience providing individual and group counseling and crisis management to college student and consultation to faculty and staff. Much of her work has focused on stress management, anxiety and depression. She enjoys working with college students at this stage of their lives as they discover who they are and establish plans for their future.
Dr. McConnell graduated with her BA, MEd, and PhD from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
She loves to travel and has traveled most of her life. Her most recent trips were to Bolivia, Peru and the Fall 2015 Semester at Sea voyage. She is very excited and honored to be making her second voyage this spring.
