Julie is looking forward to getting back on the ship and sharing the Semester at Sea experience with her family this time around. In 1996, Julie sailed as a Resident Director and then served as a part time recruiter in the New York City area for ten years. For more than 20 years, Julie has focused her professional efforts on developing global citizen leaders of all ages across academia, business and not-for-profit organizations. She founded the corporate responsibility function at world’s largest professional services network, where she initiated annual sustainability reporting and developed a global approach to scale high impact education and employability programs for underserved youth. She is currently working to shape changes in management education to offer broader benefits to the world. Julie holds a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas Christian University.
