Kayla was born and raised in North Pole, Alaska. Runner, yogi, hiker and an all-around outdoor enthusiast she loves camping and all things that make the human spirit and the great outdoors collide. Art, bright colors, dogs, music and dance are all things that bring her joy!
Kayla attended Colorado State University for undergrad, and the University of Alaska Fairbanks for her M.B.A. She has lived in Fort Collins for the past six years where she and her husband Lane adopted their fur-baby Finn about a year ago.
Working for the past three years as the Enrollment Coordinator for the Institute for Shipboard Education Kayla managed the Peer Advisor, Global Ambassador and Vicarious Voyage Programs. She gained knowledge, skills and a passion for helping others achieve their dream of sailing on our floating campus and is delighted to feel the waves beneath her feet while she serves as the Lifelong Learner and Advancement Coordinator for the Fall 2019 voyage.
