Kevin Stensberg is a Site Director for Northeastern University’s N.U.in program in Thessaloniki, Greece; having previously served as Dean of Students at The Beijing Center for Chinese Studies and having worked in residential education at Georgetown University, Montclair State University, and Rutgers University.
He earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, a Master’s degree from the University of Central Missouri, and a Certificate in International Business Management from Georgetown University.
His professional interests include the globalization of higher education, student affairs administration, and social justice education.
He has been recognized by College Student Educators International (ACPA) with awards for Excellence in Institutional Change, the Voice of Inclusion Medallion, and Outstanding International Program of the Year; and by Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education (NASPA) with two awards for Best Practice in International Education and an award for exemplary LGBT Programming.
Kevin enjoys reading, eating desserts, laughing, days spent by the ocean, and quality time with close friends. He has traveled through all 50 states in the US and is just a trip to Antarctica short of visiting all 7 continents. He sailed on the December 2011 Enrichment Voyage and is excited to be a part of the Spring 2015 semester.
