Kristin Skarie is President of Teamworks, a national team building and leadership development consulting company. She is a speaker, educator and entrepreneur with twenty-nine years of experience in higher education administration, organization development and small business advancement. Her background in student affairs includes residence life, student activities, orientation and leadership development in the US and the UK as well as youth development in Malaysia and South Africa. In addition to working with hundreds of universities, hospitals, and companies, she is a Co-Lead Facilitator for the LeaderShape Institute, a Trainer for the National Coalition Building Institute and VP of the American College Personnel Association Foundation. She is a grateful recipient of several awards including – Distinguished Alumna (Indiana University), Outstanding Service to the Association (College Student Personnel Association of NY) and Administrator Excellence (Springfield College). Kristin is the author of “A Year of Nothing New – Tools for Living Lean and Green”, a Pencil Partner Volunteer with the Rochester City School District, and a gardener, swimmer and sailor. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Education from the University of Wisconsin and her Master’s of Science in Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University.
