Originally from northern Michigan, Mark earned both his bachelors degree in International Relations and masters in Student Affairs/Education Administration from Michigan State University. He has since served overseas in the Peace Corps (in Sibiu, Romania) and as a Fulbright Scholar (at the University of Essen, Germany). Mark has worked with international students and study abroad programs for the past 10 years at various institutions, including Juniata College and Americorps Collegiate VISTA Program in Oakland, California. His work has brought him overseas for stints in Korea, Spain, Turkey and Mexico. Mark is also a certified ESL teacher and is an active member of Phi Beta Delta international and the Lions Club. He currently enjoys working with the Spanish-speaking migrant population in Southwest Florida as a Community Liason and ESE/ESL Coordinator with Redlands Community Migrant Association.
