A longtime Terp, Martha earned her MEd in College Student Personnel Administration at University of Maryland and has held positions in commuter life, community service-learning and a living-learning community there. She currently works as a consultant with UMD’s Center for Leadership and Organizational Change. These experiences have reinforced for her the importance of community in creating vibrant learning environments.
Martha is thrilled to share this upcoming learning adventure with everyone! She is excited by the amazing opportunity to develop a close-knit community of people curious to learn about the world, stretch comfort zones, and build understanding across difference. Martha anticipates that these learning experiences will be transformative.
In addition to spending time with her adult children, Martha enjoys good conversations, swimming, yoga, and of course, travel. She also volunteers with incarcerated adults, facilitating workshop on resolving conflict and alternatives to violence.
