Mary is an Associate Professor at the University of Southern California, teaching full-time in the Marriage and Family Therapy Masters Program in the Rossier School of Education for the last 7 years. She is a licensed clinical psychologist who received her doctorate from Wright State University. Mary previously worked in University Counseling Services at USC. In 2003, she was the psychologist for Semester at Sea when it sailed the North and South Pacific. This reinforced the international bug for her. She worked-to-travel as an advisor for three years with the Cannes Film Festival’s internship program through the American Pavilion. In 2007 she went to Nepal with a group of educators to visit schools and colleges, then to trek in the Himalayas. Mary lives in Venice, CA and has a private practice specializing in couples work and sexuality concerns. She maintains her Substance Abuse Certification and also conducts group therapy at Promises Intensive Outpatient Services with newly recovering clients.
