Dr. Micah, a board-certified family physician in Salt Lake City, Utah, has a busy medical practice in a multi-specialty group, where he serves as Chair of the Division of Family Medicine. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed his graduate training at the Brown University Family Medicine Residency Program. He has extensive experience in the breadth of family medicine; he treats children, adolescents and young adults, as well as older patients, who are from diverse demographics. Prior to joining his current group, Dr. Micah practiced in a rural farm-workers clinic in Nampa, Idaho, and gained experience in urgent and emergent care and student health services, and volunteered as a physician for the 2002 Winter Olympics. As graduate of Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Government and International Relations, he is thrilled by the chance to travel again, and is particularly looking forward to joining the community of students, faculty and staff on board. He will be traveling with his wife, Kirstie, and their three sons, Asa, Zev and Ezra, who lives in Park City, Utah, and would only forgo the ski season for an opportunity as great as Semester at Sea.
