Dr. Moran, 58 was born and raised in Ketchikan, AK. After earning a B.A. from Georgetown University, he received his M.D. from the University of Washington School of Medicine. Postgraduate medical education included an internship at the City of Memphis Affiliated Hospitals, University of Tennessee and a family medicine residency at The Medical Center, Columbus GA. Practice experience includes 2 years as a general medical officer for the Indian Health Service on the Crow Indian Reservation, MT. He worked for 1 ½ years in Urgent Care for the Kaiser Permanente Medical Group in Denver, CO followed by 14 years in the private practice of family medicine in Hamilton, MT. In 2000, he entered active duty in the US Army Medical Corps serving for 3 ½ years at the NATO Headquarters, SHAPE, Belgium. In 2004 he returned to private practice in Hamilton, MT. In October 2012, he completed a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine through the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. He has been board certified in Family Medicine since 1986. In April 2013 he closed his practice with the intention of pursuing further international practice opportunities. Married for 29 years to Terry, they have 3 daughters.
