Natalie Bakopoulos received her MFA from the University of Michigan, where she currently teaches. Her first novel, The Green Shore, set in Athens and Paris between 1967 and 1973, was published in June 2012 by Simon & Schuster. Her work has appeared in Granta, Salon, The New York Times, The New York Times Book Review, Glimmer Train, Ninth Letter, and Tin House. Her short fiction received a 2010 O. Henry Award. She is a contributing editor for the online journal Fiction Writers Review (www.fictionwritersreview.com). She is also the coauthor, with Jeremiah Chamberlin and Eileen Pollack, of Creative Composition.
