Paige Critcher is a Fine Art and Documentary photographer who holds a BFA degree from Ohio University and an MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has been included in group shows and solo shows, and has work in numerous national and international collections. She has been employed in commercial photography, owned and operated a B/W custom lab, and was the owner and curator of the Pearl Gallery in Richmond, VA.
She has traveled and photographed in Central America, Europe, Morocco, and Canada, as well as the entire United States. She is an accomplished gelatin silver, pigment ink, and platinum printer, who is also skilled in book design and print on demand publication.
An Associate Professor of Studio Art who has been at Sweet Briar College since 1998, she has also been an Instructor at VCU and Lynchburg College, and has taught workshops and Summer Honors Programs for Sweet Briar. She is a member of the Society for Photographic Education, and is currently represented by Rivermont Studio in Lynchburg.
