Paige Haber is Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator for the Student Affairs in Higher Education program at Texas State University-San Marcos. Prior to this role Paige taught undergraduate and graduate leadership courses for seven years. Paige received her Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from the University of San Diego, master’s degree in College Student Personnel from the University of Maryland, and B.S.B.A. in Business Management and B.A. in German Studies from the University of Arizona. Paige focuses much of her research on college student leadership development and has a number of published journal articles and book chapters. She also presents nationally and internationally on student leadership development. Paige is actively involved in international student affairs and leadership endeavors and most recently facilitated the LeaderShape Institute for students attending six American universities in Doha, Qatar. She has traveled extensively around the U.S., Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia, and she lived 2 ½ years in Germany. Paige grew up in Telluride, Colorado and loves being outdoors. She also enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Tom (who will be the Dependent Children’s Coordinator on the voyage!) and her Portuguese Water Dog, Ike. Paige is beyond thrilled to be part of this voyage to teach a leadership course as a collaboration between Semester at Sea and the American College Personnel Association (ACPA).
