Reed Johnson

Reed Johnson is a PhD candidate and Jefferson Fellow in Slavic Languages and Literature at the University of Virginia, where he also received his MFA in English/Writing as a Henry Hoyns Fellow in 2010. He has designed and taught courses in academic writing, creative writing and literary translation, and was a teaching assistant for Russian language and literature courses. His work has received an Emily Balch Award as well as a prize from Narrative Magazine, and has also appeared in Gulag Studies, Meridian, The Virginia Quarterly Review, The New England Review and The New Yorker online and forthcoming from The Gettysburg Review.
