Sandra Loeb is currently an Associate Professor of Marketing in the McGowan School of Business at King’s College in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. She earned her PhD in Marketing with a minor in Transportation and Logistics from Kent State University in 1994. She received her MBA in marketing from the University of Akron, and her BS from Kent State with a major in English.
Since earning her PhD she has instructed in South Dakota, Poland, Vietnam, Ukraine as a Fullbright Scholar, China, Germany, and now, Pennsylvania. She has been able to spend most breaks travelling throughout Asia, Europe, and South America, living by the motto ‘So many places, so little time’.
Dr. Loeb researches primarily in the areas of cross cultural marketing, ethics, and microfinance. She will be traveling to Africa in the summer of 2014 in order to evaluate the training program for individuals receiving micro-loans from a charity in Lusaka, Zambia as well as to evaluate recipients’ marketing.
Dr. Loeb is married to another marketing professor, Garold Lantz, who unfortunately has to stay home and baby sit their two black all American dogs, Zeke and Zach.
