Sarah Loth was born and raised in the great Commonwealth of Virginia which she still lovingly calls home. When not on the ship, Sarah serves as the Assistant Director for Student Conduct and Integrity at Longwood University, which also happens to be where she completed her undergraduate degree in Sociology- Family Studies. She received her Masters at Virginia Tech in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies in 2010 and is admittedly a diehard Hokie for life. Prior to moving into student conduct full time Sarah previously worked in residence life for five years.
Outside of her job Sarah enjoy serving as an advisor for Alternative Spring Breaks and watching the aha moment in students when they are able to connect what they are learning through their service to their local community/major/passion. Sarah also enjoys spending time with her dachshund Emma, staying active, crocheting and gluten free baking. She is excited to meet everyone and be part of the Spring 2018 Semester at Sea family!
