Sumner Lawson

Sumner grew up in the small town of Bozeman, Montana where she spent most of her time skiing, biking, climbing and hiking. Her love of the Rocky Mountains and led her to attend Colorado College where she worked as an EMT and guided backpacking trips for middle schoolers during her summer vacations. After graduating with a degree in Global Health in 2018, Sumner returned to Bozeman to work as a Nordic ski coach and begin the long process of applying to medical school, which she hopes to begin in August of 2020.

Sumner is excited to be sailing with SAS and is looking forward to sharing this adventure with the staculty’s kids!
