Tatiana is a Costa Rican lawyer with 27 years of experience in Real Estate Law and Corporative Law in her private practice. For the last 8 years, she has worked with the Costa Rica National Bank as external lawyer and notary. She is a certified mediator from the Costa Rican Chamber of Commerce, with experience in Conflict Resolution. In the future, she would like to serve as an arbitrator as the new Costa Rican Labor Law goes into effect.
She graduated from the Law School of Costa Rica University (UCR). She also got an specialization in Notarial and Register Law from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica. She obtained a certification as a paralegal from Colorado State University during the time she and her family lived in US. She is a member of the Costa Rican National Lawyers Bar, she was President, Vice-president and Secretary in different periods of the Regional Lawyer Bar. Authorized by the Costa Rican Supreme Court of Justice as Public Notary.
Tatiana´s interests include traveling, dancing, listening to music, playing tennis, Pilates, paddle boarding, hiking, and weight training.
This is her second voyage with Semester at Sea, and she is looking forward to build good friendships with faculty, staff, lifelong learners, crew, and students. She is very enthusiastic about participating and supporting all kind of activities on board.
