Dr. Tom L. Trittipo is a Collegiate Professor in the University of Maryland University College Graduate MBA program since 2003. Dr. Trittipo has been nominated five times for the Stanley Drazek Teaching Excellence Award at UMUC. In 2014 Dr. Trittipo received the UMUC Teaching Recognition Award in the Business and Executive Program.
In addition I am also teaching at Florida Atlantic University in the Marketing Department since 2004 as an adjunct professor.
Prior to joining UMUC he was a Full Professor in the Marketing Department at the University of Central Oklahoma College of Business Administration for twenty years. During his tenure at UCO he served as department chair. He has published articles and presented papers in the areas of international and service marketing. He was awarded a Fulbright teaching grant to Denmark in 1993.
He has also completed a visiting professorship at Politechnika Kozalinska University in Koszalin, Poland.
Dr. Trittipo was awarded a Senior Scholar Fulbright grant to teach at the School of Business and Management of Technology at Belarusian State University in Minsk, Belarus for the Spring term of 2013.
Dr. Trittipo was an instructor for five years at Oklahoma City Community College in the Business Department teaching economics and marketing courses for the associate degree program. Before entering the academic setting he was employed at three different hospitals in Oklahoma City.
Dr. Trittipo received his PhD from the University of Oklahoma in Adult Education with an emphasis in Marketing and Health Administration. He has an MEd with an emphasis in Business Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma. His undergraduate degrees include a Bachelor of Science in Hospital Administration from Oklahoma Baptist University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Central Oklahoma.
